Parent Volunteers sought for BCEL

Volunteers Wanted!

We are looking for parent volunteers.   Even if you are only available on a limited basis …we can use your help!  Below you see various ways in which you could help out in the school!  

• Helping out in the classroom:  Each classroom teacher has various way in which they use volunteers:  Being a guest reader, helping with learning centers, helping with bulletin boards, providing snacks for special days…. If you would like to help out in some way in the classroom, please contact your child’s teacher and see how you are able get involved.
•  Joining the PTO:  Our local PTO is always looking for help with various activities they sponsor.  They organize fundraisers, carnival night, and the daddy daughter dance to name a few.  If you would like to join the PTO please contact Shannon Whyte at( thewhytes@att.net) or simply come to one of the monthly meetings.
•  Do you have a green thumb?  We are looking for volunteers to help shape up our courtyard.  We have several beautiful plants, but it could use a good weeding and a little tender loving care.  If this is your thing, please contact Vicki Mikusko in the main office.
•  Coordinator for Box Tops:  We are looking for one organized person to head up collecting and turning in Box Tops for the school.  This is a great way for the school to get classroom school supplies. J  If you are interested please contact Mrs. Chartier or Mrs. Mikusko
•  Coordinator for AR store and prizes:  Looking for a one or two organized people to run our Accelerated Reader store and prizes.  If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Reinke or Mrs. Chartier.
