Dear Parents,
We have had a wonderful first week of school! Thank you for your work in getting your students to school on time and being well rested! I’m sure after the summer break, this was no easy task!
IT’S TIME TO START TURNING IN BOX TOPS! Another contest is beginning on Monday, September 14 and running through Friday, October 2. Box Tops need to be placed in a plastic bag or envelope with your child’s name and teacher’s name on the outside. These need to be turned in to Mrs. VanNorman in the RTC. (Please remember that we cannot accept expired Box Tops.) Each Box Top is worth 10 cents and these really add up!

Bullock Creek High School Homecoming is next Friday, September 18. You and your child are invited to walk in the Bullock Creek Homecoming Parade. If you are interested in doing so, please open the attachment for further information. In the spirit of Homecoming, we have the following Spirit Days:
Monday, September 14 – Favorite Hat Day
Wednesday, September 16 – Favorite Sports Team Shirt/Sweatshirt
Friday, September 18 – Black and Gold Day
Kristie Clark, Bullock Creek Elementary and Floyd Elementary school counselor, is presenting a six week class on Parenting the Love and Logic Way. The first session begins on the 22nd of September. If you are interested, please check out the attachment.
Picture Day at Pine River Elementary is September 22. Picture envelopes will be coming home soon!
I would like to remind you of a couple of procedural items at Pine River Elementary:
- If your child arrives to school after 8:50 a.m., you must come in to the office and sign in the student .
- If you are picking up your child during the day or at the end of the day, you must come and sign out the student.
- Bus passes MUST be in writing.
