In previous years we have had the opportunity to host the Girls on the Run program at Pine River Elementary. In order to host this program for girls in grades 3-5, we are in need of a head coach and an assistant coach. A requirement from Girls on the Run is that the head coach be female. There is a short training session for coaches. If you are interested, please let me know ASAP.
Parent Teacher Conferences are fast approaching (October 15th and 19th). If you have not received a conference time, please contact your child’s teacher.
Upcoming Dates:
Monday, October 5th: BCEL/PR PTO meeting @ 6:30 p.m. in the Bullock Creek Library.
Tuesday, October 6th: Pizza Kit orders are due by the end of the school day. Due to the delivery schedule, late orders cannot be accepted.
Wednesday, October 7th: Wonderful Wednesdays @ Messiah Lutheran begins
Friday, October 9th: Professional Development for teachers – no school for students.
Looking for something for your child to do on the 9th of October? The Midland Community Center is offering a School’s Out for Youth Camp. I have attached a flyer that has more information about this program.
