BCHS Families,
Thank you to everyone who attended the Parent/Teacher Conferences this week. We had a great turnout. If you were unable to attend but would still like to speak with your child’s teachers, please contact them at school. If you go to the Bullock Creek Schools webpage and look under the parents tab, you will find a link to the District Contact Page and there you can find all staff’s e-mail addresses.
Tonight is the last game for the Varsity Football Team and there will be a couple of special things happening at the game. The Varsity Football Team will be wearing their pink socks in honor of breast cancer awareness and they would like to encourage everyone to wear pink for the last game of the year and show support for those that have battled or are still battling breast cancer. Tonight is also Senior Parents’ Night. Parents of senior cheerleaders, football players, cross country members, and band students will be recognized before the football game. Senior parents are asked to be at the stadium by 6:20 a.m.
There is an important meeting coming up for all seniors. A senior class meeting will be held on Monday, October 26 during 5th hour. Graduation information will be distributed. If your student is out of the building during this time, please have them see Ms. Rubingh (Room 2D) on TUESDAY to pick up the information. On Friday, October 30th during lunch hours, graduation orders will be taken in the cafeteria. This includes the ordering of caps and gowns for graduation. Please make sure you talk with your senior student about this information.
Next week is Michigan’s College Application Week. Please see the attached letter describing the events going on next week at the high school. The purpose of this week is to help seniors through the college application process and encourage them continue to work on their post-secondary plans.

All 11th grade students will be involved in a Criminal Sexual Conduct Presentation at the high school on November 19. This program is being presented by the Judges of Midland County. The Michigan Legislature has mandated that certain facts surrounding criminal sexual conduct be presented to all students. There will be a Parent Presentation on Wednesday, November 4 so that you can be informed of this topic and made aware of what will be presented to your child. The parent presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Northeast Middle School Theater. Please see the attached letter for more information.
