BCMS News & Notes

Greetings,
We’ve had a wonderful week with a lot of activities going on in the building.  Girls’ basketball is in full swing and the next home game is Tuesday @4:30 against Ovid-Elsie.  7th grade plays at 4:30 and 8th grade immediately following.  On Monday, November 23rd we’re hosting a wrestling meet against Freeland and St. Louis, this will begin at 4:30.  If you can make either of these events, the support for the kids is appreciated.
Don’t forget we have a short week coming up.  No school on Wednesday, November 25th through Friday, November 27th.  This will give you a chance to enjoy a long weekend with your family.
Thanks to all of the families that have donated food to the student council food drive.  We’ve collected a ton of food and I know your support is much appreciated.
The Midland County Road Commission will be holding an informative meeting at the Bullock Creek High School cafeteria on Tuesday, November 24th from 4-6pm to discuss road improvements for Gordonville and Badour roads near their intersection by the high school.
The BCMS will be participating in student survey during the second week of December.  Students in grades 6-8 in our building will be involved.  Below is a short description provided by The Legacy Center for Community Success.
‘During the week of December 7, 2015, The Legacy Center for Community Success (TLC) will facilitate an important study of the needs, attitudes, and behaviors of Midland County students in the 6th through 12th grades. The value of a study of this kind improves with the participation of every student. The results will guide the development of services available for Midland County students and their families for years to come, as the 2005 and 2010 surveys have done.’
Attached is the full letter describing the survey.  Please read this attachment for more information.
Enjoy the first SNOW of the season and be careful on the roadways.
