BCMS News & Notes

Greetings,
There is a lot happening at the BCMS lately.  Let me get everyone up-to-date on what’s going on with our students.
This week is the last week of the second marking period.  Students are taking tests and getting the last of their assignments turned in for grading.  Teachers are preparing to close grade books for this term and entering grades into Skyward.  Friday, January 22nd is the last day of the marking period and report cards will go home Friday, January 29th.
7th and 8th grade boys basketball is now in progress.  They has their first game last night against Freeland.  Next Tuesday they face Chesaning.
The BCMS students are currently working on their play.  I’m excited to see their final performance.
NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 25th.
February 3rd our 8th grade students visit the HS for an orientation.
Student Council is planning the annual ski trip for February 18th – more information will be available soon.
***I have had many questions regarding our truancy policy.  I have attached a letter explaining the truancy policy as outlined by Midland County and the Bullock Creek School District.  Please take a moment to read this letter as it will answer many questions.
Just a reminder to please check the balance on your child’s lunch account and get those balanced as soon as possible.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Curt Moses, Principal
