The 7th grade boys basketball B-team improved their record to 7-2 with a big win vs. Swan Valley last night, with a final score of 39-27. Keygan Toliver and Kyle Crawford led the way for the Lancers with 8 points a piece. Brayden Harsh played great interior defense while Isaiah Butcher got a number of steals out on the perimeter. Great game boys! The 7th grade boys basketball A-team waited till the last couple of minutes of the game to pull of a dramatic victory and improving their record to 7-2. Down by six with two minutes to go, Seth Bradford hit a huge 3 point shot to pull the Lancers within 3. Very next possession Sam Midkiff came down and hit a huge 3 point bucket himself to tie the game. With the game tied and six seconds to go, Gage Chapin was fouled. Gage walked up to the line and with ice in his veins hit two free throws to finally give the Lancers the lead. Swan Valley was unable to get a final shot off with the Lancers stifling defense and would pull off a dramatic victory, 43-41. Incredible job boys!!! The boys have two games left in the season. Monday is at Hemlock and the final game of the season is on next Wednesday at home vs. Alma, who is the top team in the league.
