BCMS News & Notes

Greetings,
The MS play is outstanding!  If you have an opportunity to see the last performance on Saturday at 2:00, please take advantage of it.  Valerie Brandt and Sarah Leboeuf-Brown directed the play and I would like to recognize their dedication to putting on a wonderful show.
I want to thank all the families that were able to make the March 3rd conferences.  It’s so nice to see everyone and it’s a great chance for school and home to make a connection.
Many things are going on in the next couple weeks that I need to share with you.
-March 5th @2:00 MS play at the BCHS auditorium
-March 7th PTC (invitation only)
-March 11th D.A.R.E. Spaghetti dinner
-March 12th Black & Gold Banquet
Many of our families know about and have had children who have participated in the Battle of the Books program through the Grace A. Dow Library.  This is a fantastic, competitive reading program for 4th & 5th grade students throughout the county.  This year’s competition began with 57 teams and was narrowed down to a single winning team.  That winning team was a group of students from Floyd Elementary.  Congratulations to them on winning this extremely tough competition.
Hopefully we are finished with the nasty weather and we can have a few regular weeks ahead of us.
Have a great weekend!
Curt Moses, Principal
