Over 50 teams across Midland County began the competition. At the end, Floyd Elementary was standing on the stage of the Grace A. Dow Library as the overall winner in this very competitive and challenging competition.
Students in the competition read up to 20 quality literature books and then must become experts on the books in order to answer complex questions regarding the book characters, settings, events, and other literary elements. The Floyd Battle Team was able to answer EVERY QUESTION of the final battle correctly and defeat the team from Midland Public Schools by a score of 72 to 97!
Way to go Floyd Elementary!
