HS Announcements – April 11, 2016

  • JV Baseball & JV Softball is cancelled for today.  Varsity games will be played as scheduled.
  • Attention National Honor Society members:  This is a reminder that your cookie dough order forms are due TODAY by 3:30 p.m.  Also, we have a full group meeting this Thursday, April 14th at 2:50 in the Media Center.  If you are unable to attend, you must contact Ms. Rubingh or Mrs. Landon.
  • Juniors, tomorrow you will begin the MME Testing at Messiah Lutheran.  Please arrive by 7:45 with a #2 pencil and a calculator.  Also, remember to dress in layers since it is difficult to control the temperatures in the rooms.  It is important that you leave you cell phone at home or in your car.
  • Seniors, the list of scholarships were recently updated.  While scholarships season is winding down, there is still time to capture some scholarship money.
  • Would you like an opportunity to earn a $2,000 scholarship?  Garber Buick is sponsoring the “Drive Your Community Scholarship.”  This is an opportunity for students in kindergarten through 12th grade to showcase what you do to positively contribute to our community.  For more information, stop by the Lancer Lounge.
  • All Delta-bound seniors are invited to the Delta Registration Countdown Party on Monday, April 18th to celebrate the beginning of Open Enrollment!  Enrollment opens promptly at 8 am so seniors who sign up this week will be excused from the first part of their first hour.  We will be providing a fun breakfast treat and counting down so that seniors can press the submit button on their schedules at the earliest possible second!  Make sure you talk to Mr. Bonello or Mrs. Brown before you sign up in the counseling office by the end of this week!
  • A BIG congratulations to Sammy Gouge.  She competed this weekend in the Region 5 Gymnastics Meet against gymnasts from five states.  She had an outstanding weekend and qualified to represent Region 5 in the National Meet in Virginia Beach at the end of the month.  Way to go Sammy and good luck at Nationals!
