This past weekend, FIRST Team 3770 – BlitzCreek competed at the Michigan FRC State Championship in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Coming into the weekend, Team 3770 was ranked 75th of 411 Michigan teams. Over three days of competition, BlitzCreek was able to battle their way through qualification matches to finish 35th of 102 State Qualifiers.
The team’s hardwork was rewarded when they were selected by the number 10 seed to go on and complete in Elimination rounds. Together the alliance came from behind to beat the number 7 seed in a best of three match up and advance to the quarterfinals. During quarters, the alliance was able to put up 200 points, but unfortunately that is where their run ended for the weekend.
After another successful weekend of competition, has BlitzCreek ranked 42nd of 411 teams in Michigan and heading to the FRC World Championship in St. Louis, MO the weekend of April 30th. There they will compete with over 400 og tge best teams from around the world.
Along with Team 3770, Team 2619 -The Charge from Dow High, and Team 5166 – The Fabricators from Freeland High will be traveling to St. Louis to compete.
