* As a staff, we do not recommend large, zippered, multi-subject binders. These become disorganized very quickly. Unless your student is VERY organized, we recommend separate binders for each class.

* Students will be expected to have a free reading book at all times. Students may select these books at school, but the summer is an excellent time to stock up on reading material for the coming year.

* Students will be allowed to use their own electronic devices (phones, iPods, tablets, laptops) in class for academic purposes at the teacher’s discretion. This includes reading, researching, typing, recording presentations, etc. Please discuss with your student whether or not he or she will be allowed to bring their devices to school and the importance of using them for academic purposes only during the school day.
