To make a call, enter the number and then pick up the handset OR pick up the handset, dial the number and press SEND. Unlike our old phones, it will not make the call if you pick up the handset and dial the number (must now press SEND).
Outside calls: No more “outgoing” or “9” to get an outside line. Dial the number and hit send, similar to dialing an extension.
If the call is local, the area code is not required. If it is not local, use a 1 and the area code and the number.
