Dear Bullock Creek Families:
On behalf of the Bullock Creek Board of Education, our staff and myself, I am thrilled to welcome our students back for the 2016-17 school year. The start of a new school year is exciting for all of us. Staff have worked diligently throughout the summer to prepare each building for your child’s return. During schedule pick-up and the elementary open houses, I have seen many happy faces ready to return to school.
I would like to express our sincere thanks to the Bullock Creek Community for your support of our school improvement bond. Thousands will benefit from the support you have provided. Thank you to the Bullock Creek Community for supporting these improvements, we are extremely grateful.
We do have a few new hires for the 2016-17 school year:
- Mr. Jason Long – Mr. Long has been hired to replace counselor Deana Bickel and will be working at Bullock Creek High School and Pine River Elementary.
- Mrs. Crystal Snell – Mrs. Snell has been hired to replace Mrs. Debra Swears. She will coordinate and teach Math Labs at both Floyd Elementary and Pine River Elementary.
- Mrs. Christina Duhoski – Mrs. Duhoski will be teaching Transitional Kindergarten at Floyd Elementary.
- Mr. Kevin Shields – Mr. Shields will be teaching English at the Middle School and High School.
- Mrs. Josephine Bossenberger – Mrs. Bossenberger has been hired to replace Mr. GregSmokovitz. She will be the Band Director at both the Middle School and High School.
- Mrs. Patricia Sawicki – Mrs. Sawicki has been hired to teach Science at the High School.This year we will continue to build upon some excellent programs that began last school year. Our continuous school improvement efforts are a priority to our staff, students and administration. It is our desire to provide high quality educational opportunities to our students and to ensure that our students are career and college ready when graduating from Bullock Creek School District. I am proud of our staff and their daily investment in each child. Lets work together to make this a great year!
