Sign up in the Counseling office to meet with the representative from Lake Superior State University on October 6 at 1:30 pm. Juniors & Seniors – You may attend only 2 in-school college rep visits per school year. Please see Mrs. Brown if you require an exception.
BCHS will be offering the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) on Wednesday, October 19 at 7:55am. Students interested in getting a jump start on practicing for the SAT, this is a great opportunity. While freshman and sophomores are eligible to take the test, only juniors can qualify to be a National Merit Scholar. The cost is $15 and students can register in the Counseling Center.
Do you remember College Application Week and College Cash Campaign? Well this year, we’ll be celebrating both of them throughout the month of October! Look out for all of the fun activities the Counseling Office has planned for you this month. Tomorrow is College Goal Tuesday! Join the staff by wearing your favorite college gear and rooting for your favorite schools!
The Bullock Creek Equestrian Team finished the day on Sunday in 2nd place over all making them the Reserve Champions. The team will now head to State competition that starts on October 13 and runs until October 16th. Great job!
The boys cross country team competed at the Gladwin Cedar Bend Invitational on Saturday. Despite not having a key runner at the meet, the boys earned 1st place out of the 11 teams that were there! Brennan Mudd won the race with a time of 17:06, making this his fourth first place finish of the season. Our other medalists for the meet were Thatcher Trudell in 8th and DJ Parkinson in 11th. Rounding out our varsity runners were Joe Sira, Brett Pinet, Luke Winslow, and Steven Lenon. Awesome job guys! Our next meet is this Saturday at the Heritage Invitational. Make sure you wish our athletes “good luck!”
