After seeing frost on the ground this morning I believe fall has arrived. Students will be outside for recess and you may want to remind them to take a sweatshirt or light jacket with them.
Varsity football game at home tonight – kick off is at 7:00.
Please be mindful of our student dress code. One of the more common issues is when students wear stretch pants but do not have a skirt or shirt that is at least finger-tip length. Tying a sweatshirt around the waist doesn’t not meet code. Learning to comply with a dress code for new students can be a tricky process. Students questioning an outfit can always ask any staff member for clarification.
Thank you to everyone that attended parent/teacher conferences. We had a wonderful turnout and it was great to have a change to talk families.
Please remember to take it slow in the morning during student drop off. If you’re having a sibling or someone not reading this email dropping your child off in the morning, please remind them to take it slow. During this time of year it is very dark and safety is our first priority.
