This Thursday, November 3rd at 6pm, we will be hosting a Financing Your Education night for any parents and students interested in learning about Financial Aid and scholarships. There will be a presentation about the various forms and sources of funding as well as a workshop for seniors who still need to finish submitting their FAFSA and would like assistance from Mrs. Brown, Mr. Bonello, and local college professionals! If you’re interested in attending, call the counseling office to reserve a computer!
Imagine waking up each day full of anxiety and fear. Imagine walking the halls of our school knowing that kids are going to laugh at you, threaten you or make hurtful comments. Imagine receiving texts or Instagram threats that make you afraid to leave your house. The tough part is for some of our students this is their reality. BC is home to a wonderfully diverse group of people. Our strength is our sense of community and our ability to support each other, respect each other’s differences and look out for every Lancers’ well being. Tomorrow morning before school you will be greeted with donuts by members of our Be the Change team in observance of Donut Bully Day. Take a stand against bullying! Please visit them for a special treat and help us to stomp out bullying.
