HS Announcements – January 18, 2017

  • Hey Lancers!  Tomorrow is Thursday and that can only mean one thing!!!!  It’s Donut Day!  Get prepped for your Thursday finals with a little extra sugar boost in the morning!  Cops n Donuts will be on sale for only $1!  Bring your dollars and get a morning treat and support Student Council’s efforts to get new benches for the front of the school!
  • Attention Creekers for a Cause members, there will be NO meeting tomorrow morning.  We will meet again on Thursday, January 26th in Mrs. Hoefer’s room at 7:25am.
  • The Creek Ski and Snowboard Club Ski Trip is still on and all are welcome!  Our trip  meeting has been rescheduled to a different time and a different place………come on over to the Lancer Lounge in the Counseling Office  tomorrow at 11am during 1st lunch, or at 12:45 pm during 2nd lunch.  Or, stop by and see Mr. Long in the Counseling Office for more information.
  • The Talent Show auditions are now scheduled for Thursday after school in the auditorium. If you cannot attend you must see Ms. Doud in room 7B.
  • Attention Seniors!  The yearbook staff is working hard to put together the senior slide show and they need YOU to make it awesome.  Dig out those goofy pictures from elementary Halloween parties, middle school field trips, and high school homecomings–ANY pictures of you and your friends from your time at Bullock Creek Schools are welcome for the slide show.  These are due by the end of the first semester and can be turned in to Mrs. Discher, any yearbook staffer, or in the main office. All hard copies of photos will be scanned and returned.
  • There will be a Segment I driver education class offered at the High School in room 7E starting on January 24. There will also be a Segment II class offered starting February 6.  Check out kingoftheroaddrivingschool.com for details and registration.
  • This past Saturday, our Men’s and Women’s bowling teams competed against Swan Valley. The girls lost 20 to 10 after falling behind 10 to 0 after the second game. The highlight of the match was Skyler Rounds bowling not only her first 300 game, but also the first in program history.  Elizabeth Ancel also bowled a 221 game. Creek out bowled Swan Valley 1858 to 1851 on the day. In the second match against Standish, the girls won 21 to 9.  This was behind Elizabeth Ancel’s 203 and 186 games as well as Allison Woollard’s 173 game.  The boys lost their first match 18 to 12 against Freeland, with Jordan Cody being high on the team with a 183 game. The boys won the second match of the day against Carrollton 18 to 12 with Jordan Cody throwing the high game of 202. The girls are now 5 and 1 and the boys are 3 and 3 overall.
