Greetings,
Let me share a few important things going on in the next few weeks.
*Just a reminder to all parents that the 7th and 8th grade students will be taking the PSAT test on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 7:40 – 11:30. It is very important that your child be present and on time to school that day. Once the testing has begun, no student can be admitted into the testing sessions. Please encourage your children to get a good night sleep the night before testing and to eat a good breakfast that morning. The PSAT 8/9 assessment will help your student prepare for the future. By taking the PSAT 8/9, your student will learn which skills he or she needs to work on for continued success through high school and college. In addition, the PSAT 8/9 will identify areas where your student excels and may want to consider taking higher level courses, as well as areas he or she should focus on to improve academically.
*February 24th – 8th graders input freshman schedules with counselors.
*Thursday, March 2nd – MS Play at the BCHS Auditorium @ 7pm. Cost is $2/students $3/adults
*Friday, March 3rd BCMS students will be traveling to the BCHS auditorium to see our play. Students will be leaving directly from the HS. They will catch their bus there, or if need be, you will want to make arrangements to pick them up from the HS.
*Saturday, March 4th – MS Play at the BCHS Auditorium @ 2pm. Cost is $2/students $3/adults
*Support our BC Sports Boosters by purchasing tickets to the Black & Gold Bash. See flyer for additional details.
*Warmer weather this week. Students will be able to go outside at lunch time.
*Interested in signing up for the newly formed Bullock Creek Little League? See attached flyer.
*BC Basketball games tonight at the MS – the MS band will be playing. Games begin at 4:30.
