HS Announcements – April 28, 2017

  • Attention Seniors! LAST CALL to submit photos for the senior slide show.  The slide show is always a favorite part of the graduation ceremony–make sure you are included!  Photos can be submitted to Bailie Gagne or Mrs. Discher in 5E.  You can also email digital copies to Mrs. Discher.
  • Attention Senior NHS members.  This is your final reminder that your HOURS ARE DUE MONDAY  5/1..  Many of you need to turn them in.  Please understand:  if we do not receive your hours, you will not be seated with other NHS members during the graduation ceremony.
  • Delta College will be holding a Camp Health and Wellness on June 20-22, 2017, from 9 am-3 pm.  Registrations forms are due June 16th, along with a $10 fee.  Brochures are in the Counseling office.
  • Attention all students: Its time for the “No Detention Convention” breakfast. The date of the breakfast is Tuesday, May 2nd and will be held during your first hour. This special breakfast is for students who have not received any type detention or suspension this school year. Please check the window outside the main office to see if you are eligible to attend the breakfast. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Tomko.
  • Interested in Aviation?  Then the Midland Aviation Camp is for you!  All students going into 10th through 12th grade in the fall are invited to attend Aviation Camp at the Midland Jack Barstow Airport June 19-23, 2017.  Aviation Camp offers an introduction to the aviation and space world through hands-on activities, demonstrations, interactions with local pilots and a field trip the MBS Airport in Freeland.  More information on the camp is in the Counseling office.
  • Seniors, Awards Night is coming up and Mrs. Brown would love to brag about the scholarships you have received.  Please stop by and share your scholarship successes with her.
  • GIRLS STATE is an incredible summer opportunity for a female junior interested in learning more about politics, our government, and leadership skills.  The American Legion sponsors one student from Bullock Creek for this opportunity.  If you are interested please see Mrs. Brown by the end of the day Monday.
  • Attention Seniors.  Vocal auditions for graduation will be held Wednesday, May 10th beginning at 3:00 in the auditorium.  If interested, please sign up with Ms. Rubingh in room 2D.  Your music accompaniment must be without words AND graduation appropriate.
