COURTYARD FLIP
Recently the high school courtyard had a mini-makeover. This project would not have been possible without the financial support of the Midland County Youth Action Council (MCYAC). Our courtyard was an underutilized space for students and staff. With the MCYAC grant we were able to make our courtyard more usable. We wanted to make it more inviting for the students and provide seating during lunches. We purchased four new picnic tables along with some fun yard games that the students can use during lunch hours and after school.
Midland County Youth Action Council is a project of the Midland Area Community Foundation, and is made possible through the Council of Michigan Foundations and supported by a grant from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. The Midland Area Community Foundation provides philanthropic leadership to strengthen our community by fostering collaboration and giving today and in the future.
