I’ll try and keep this short. Please read through everything. I have several important things to pass along this week.
* NO BUS PASSES will be issued for BCMS student to ride home on an elementary route
*Please sign and return both the last page of the student handbook AND the emergency contact form
*NEW…BCMS Curriculum Night – September 19th – see attachment for details
*The first BCMS Dance – September 28th from 2:30-4:00. $3 admission. Pizza & Pop is also available for $1. Please be sure and schedule your student to be picked up no later than 4:00. Thank you.
*Dress code reminder: Please be sure and read through the dress code (in the handbook). With summer ending and fall beginning, here are the two most common issues.
- Spandex/yoga pants, leggings or excessively tight pants or skirts may not be worn unless they are worn under pants, shorts, skirts or shirts of the appropriate length. This includes while the student is standing and/or seated.
- Hooded sweatshirts are allowed in school as long as the hood is not up. Students wearing hoods up will be asked to remove hood and discipline action may be taken.
*September 15th ½ day for Bullock Creek. BCMS releases students at 10:30am.
Please take a look at the attachments. There is also a letter from Judge Allen to parents explaining the importance of attendance.
BC Varsity football plays at home tonight – kick-off is at 7pm.
