Junior Class officers & representatives will meet TOMORROW at 7:15 a.m. in room 6A.  Freshman Class officers & reps will meet this THURSDAY at  7:15 a.m. in room 6A.  If you cannot attend, please let Mrs. Sweebe or Ms. Moody know.

 

Auditions for the fall production of Robin Hood will be held tomorrow at 3:00 in the auditorium.  Any student is welcome to audition.  If you are unable to attend auditions or have any questions, please talk to Mr. Shields before school tomorrow in room 2D.

 

Are you interested in learning more about mathematics?  If so, feel free to join the math club in Mrs. Syring’s room after school from 3-4 pm on Tuesdays for some mathematical fun.  Contact Mrs. Syring or Maxton Herst for more information.

 

Coach Borsenik will be holding a brief meeting this Wednesday in the cafeteria immediately after school for all girls interested in playing softball in the spring.  We will discuss fall and winter work out times.  Be there if you plan to play.

 

Homecoming is just around the corner and you know what that means?! The annual Bullock Creek Powder Puff game is almost here! The game takes place on Saturday the 23rd, at 6pm. The cost is $2 and no sport passes are accepted.  Participants, please sign-up in the office, asap!

 

Hey lancers!  Student Council would like to officially announce an addition to our spirit week Competition.  With that being said drum roll please… the addition to this years spirit competition will be hallway decorating!  This will take place after the powder puff game on September 23rd!  We are so excited about this event!  Ask your class student council members for more information!

 

Remember students – If you would like to bring a guest from another school to the homecoming dance, you must fill out a Dance Visitor Pass. Pick one up in the main office today!

College representatives will be at the High School at the following times:  September 18 – Michigan Tech at 8:30      September 19 – Alma College at 1:35 pm;  September 20 – Baker College at 12:45 pm;  September 21 – Delta College at 1:45.  Please sign up in the Counseling Center if you are interested to meet with the representative.

 

The boys cross country team took 3rd place out of 17 teams at the 49th Annual Lancer Invitational on Saturday. Brennan Mudd was the champion of the gold division race, running a time of 16:34 and was 43 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. The rest of our team’s places were Thatcher Trudell in 4th, Joe Sira in 27th, Steven Lenon in 28th, Lucas Kindy in 32nd, Brett Pinet in 41st, Louis Kehr in 62nd, Isaiah Butcher in 91st, and Louis Spalding in 140th. Great job!  Tomorrow is the cross country team’s first TVC meet of the season, hosted by us at Stratford Woods! So make sure to come out and support our cross country athletes!
