- This is a reminder to all homecoming court members! Please get your halftime surveys turned in to Mrs. Syring (3A )or Mrs. DuBois (8B) by the end of the day TODAY.
- Underclassmen playing or coaching powderpuff, please be at the school Saturday at 4:45 wearing black. All underclassmen girls are welcome to play. We could use a few more players.
- The countdown is on Lancers! Kick-off Homecoming week with hallway decorating after the Powderpuff game!! Ask your class student council members for more information!
- The Creek Grill will be having a Football Tailgate from 1pm – 11pm tomorrow. Come before the powder puff game, win prizes, have outdoor food, and see the Coaches’ Wing Eating contest at 2:00. After the game, come back to The Creek Grill for a bon fire and s’mores with games continuing. Lots of fun! All proceeds go to the Football program.
- Hey everyone! If you’re planning to go to the homecoming dance, you’d better buy your tickets now! Ticket sales are going on during lunches through Thursday September 28th. Remember–you cannot buy your tickets at the dance! Also…have your guest form ready if you’re bringing someone from another school.
- ATTENTION Students & Teachers! The best week of the whole year starts Monday! HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK! Starting with Safari Day on Monday, Sport your favorite school appropriate animal print/safari gear for spirit points for your class! On Tuesday get ready to go way, way back for Decades Day! Wear your favorites from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s & 90’s! On Wednesday be ready to run until you just don’t feel like running anymore. It’s Forrest Gump day on Wednesday, sport your favorite running clothes , however these still need to be school appropriate. On Thursday have fun casting all your favorite spells because, it is Harry Potter Day!!! Rounding out our 2017 Homecoming Spirit Week will be BLACK & GOLD DAY! Show your school spirit throughout this week and your class could win the prize!
- Hey Creekers, want to participate in a walk to end hunger? If so, join NHS in fundraising for the Midland Crop Walk, which takes place on Sunday, October 1st. It’s a great opportunity to give back to your community and earn volunteer hours. To join our team, go to www.cropwalk.org/midlandmi/ and register yourself, then search Creekers to become a part! Spread the word and invite people to that same website to donate. They can either donate to our team by searching team Creekers, or donate to you individually if you want to participate in the walk itself.
