Here is a listing of Homecoming Events taking place this week:
Friday
1. The Homecoming Assembly from 1:41 – 2:38 p.m. The assembly will take place in the high school main gym.
2. Homecoming Parade – The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. The parade route starts at the church on the corner of Patterson Road and Stewart Road. The parade will progress down Stewart Road, turn left onto Badour Road, and then turn into the high school parking lot.
Special Note if you are in the parade or have a child in the parade:
There will be a shuttle bus beginning at 4:00 p.m. in front of the high school office that will take students and adults down to the parade route and drop them off in front of the church. There is very limited parking at the church.
Please do not try and drive down Patterson Road between Stewart and Gordonville Roads. This is where the floats and others in the parade will be lining up.
If you have a vehicle that needs to be in the parade, you should enter Patterson Road off from Gordonville Road.
3. Starting around 4:00 p.m., there will be several food trucks at the high school providing food for anyone interested in grabbing something to eat between the parade and the start of the football game.
4. Our band program will be holding a clothing sale as a Band Uniform Fundraiser. This will take place on Friday before the Homecoming Game in the Auditorium Lobby. See the attached flyer for more information.
5. The Homecoming Varsity Football Game versus Shepherd High School will begin at 7:00 p.m. At halftime of the game, the Homecoming Court will be announced and the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned.
Saturday
1. The BCEL/PR PTO Color fun Run/Walk begins at 9:00 a.m. at Bullock Creek High School. Attached is a flyer with information about how to still register.
2. Homecoming Dance – The dance will take place at Bullock Creek High School from 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. All tickets must be purchased prior to the dance. Tickets are on sale during lunch periods and the cost is $20 for a couple or $12 for a single. Anyone bringing a guest from another school to the dance must have this guest pre-approved. Guest pass forms are available in the high school office. All forms should be completed and turned in to the high school office by Thursday. Please note that the doors to the high school will be closed until 8:00 p.m. There will not be early entry into the dance.
