- The open spots for the PSAT are filling up fast. If you are interested in taking the PSAT on October 11, you should register ASAP in the Counseling Center. Please remember the cost is $16.

- Hey everyone! If you’re planning to go to the homecoming dance, you’d better buy your tickets now! Tomorrow is the last day to purchase tickets! Remember–you cannot buy your tickets at the dance!
- Hey Lancers!! The prizes for this year’s Spirit Week Competition are bragging rights for your class, the Spirit Flag in your hallway ALL year, and a BCHS bracelet. Show off your Lancer spirit every day!
- Attention Homecoming Court! Practice for halftime is TOMORROW. Meet in the cafeteria right after school.
- SPIRIT DAYS! Tomorrow, have fun casting all your favorite spells because it is Harry Potter Day!!! Friday is BLACK & GOLD DAY! Show your school spirit throughout this week and your class could win the prize!
- Online homecoming apparel orders will be ready for pickup during both lunches or after school tomorrow and Friday. Homecoming T-Shirts will be available for sale during this time as well. Shirts are $10 each.
- The following colleges will be here for visits next week: October 3rd – University of Michigan at 9:00 am; October 4th – SVSU at 1:45; October 4th – Protege Academy during lunches.
- Next Thursday, October 5th, is PICTURE DAY. All students will have their picture taken for school ID cards.
- Attention all girls interested in playing basketball this winter – – – Open gyms for girls basketball begin this Sunday in the Main Gym from 6:00 until 7:15. Any questions see Coach Freeland in room 7D.
- The girls cross country team finished fifth last night at the TVC Central Jamboree. Coming in first for the Lancers and 11th overall was Brooklynn Riggle with a time of 22:27. Brooke Gledhill finished 2nd for the team and posted a season best time of 23:58. Other scorers for the team were Rita Gorsuch, Abby Hahn, and Samantha Chew. Great job runners!
- The boys cross country team ran at their second TVC meet of the season yesterday at the Showboat Park in Chesaning. The boys team finished 2nd! Winning the race was Brennan Mudd in a time of 16:33 and Thatcher Trudell finished in 2nd with a time of 17:01! Other team members placing were Joe Sira, Lucas Kindy, Steven Lenon, Brett Pinet, Louis Kehr, Isaiah Butcher, and Louis Spalding. Great job!
