  • Students signed up to take the MMPC, please report to the distance learning lab at the start of second hour tomorrowTuesday, October 10th, 2017.
  • Attention Math Club members – No Math club this week. See you next Tuesday.
  • Please sign up in the Counseling office if you are interested in meeting with the college rep from Northern Michigan University at 8 am on October 12th.
  • Challenge Day permission slips are due in the Counseling Office by this Friday.  If you lost your first permission slip, stop by and ask for one.
  • Hoco date not go so well?  Join us for a “second chance” Glow dance immediately following the football game this Friday, October 13th until 11:00 pm. Cost is $5 per person at the door.  $1 concessions will be available.
  • Congratulations to Samantha Chew!  She is the winner of the Throwback Thursday contest and will receive $5 off of her 2017-2018 yearbook.  Thanks to all who participated in our activities in honor of National Yearbook Week.  Now it’s time to take the next step: ORDER YOUR YEARBOOK!  The cost is $55 until Halloween, and then the price goes up, so order now and save!  Order online at yearbookforever.com or get a form in the main office or from Mrs. Discher in 5E.
  • Come help us save lives by giving blood on Friday the 20th. Sign up is in the office now. You must be over 16 and you must weigh 110lbs for guys or 120lbs for girls. 1st timers have to fill out and turn in the form in the office by the 19th.
  • The boys cross country team competed at the Heritage Invitational on Saturday.  The team earned 7th place overall in the large school division but was 2nd out of the D2 schools.  Brennan Mudd ran with the lead pack the majority of the race and ending up placing 2nd with a time of 16:30.  Brennan earned a medal as did Thatcher Trudell who placed 12th with a time of 17:03.  The rest of our varsity team who placed were Joe Sira, Lucas Kindy, Steven Lenon, Brett Pinet, and Louis Kehr.  Our JV runners had great races as well with Isaiah Butcher missing out on a medal by only 2 spots and Louis Spalding also placing.  Great job everyone!
