  • Time is running out to turn in your permission slips for Challenge Day 2017 – Halloween Edition.  Don’t miss out on this epic opportunity.  Turn in your slips to the Counseling Center by this Friday.
  • Pink Out is this Friday, October 13.  Please help us to honor those who are battling or lost their fight to cancer by wearing pink to school and to the Varsity Football Game.
  • Big Brothers/Big Sisters are in need of additional volunteers for their after school program.  You may pick up an application in the Counseling Center.  They must be returned by tomorrow!
  • Interested in playing a winter sport?  The sign up sheets are on Mrs. Huntoon’s desk in the main office.  You must be signed up to be able to attend the Winter sports meetings on Wednesday Oct 18th.
  • Come help us save lives by giving blood on Friday the 20th. Sign up is in the office now. You must be over 16 and you must weigh 110lbs for guys or 120lbs for girls. 1st timers have to fill out and turn in the form in the office by the 19th.
  • At last night’s TVC Central jamboree, Brooklynn Riggle earned Second Team All-Conference honors and placed seventh with a time of 20:47, while Abby Hahn was 25th in 22:57. Samantha Chew was 31st in 23:19. Reba Kindy and Brooke Gledhill rounded out the Lancers’ top five.  Great work ladies!
  • Yesterday the boys cross country team competed at the 3rd and final TVC Central meet of the season.  The boys finished 2nd overall in the central division.  Brennan Mudd took 1st place with a time of 16:23 and Thatcher Trudell took 2nd place with a time of 16:54.  Both Brennan and Thatcher earned 1st Team All-Conference Honors.  The rest of our team’s places were: Joe Sira – 18th, Lucas Kindy – 19th, Steven Lenon – 21st, Brett Pinet – 25th, Louis Kehr – 27th, Isaiah Butcher – 54th, and Louis Spalding in 74th.  Awesome job guys!  The TVC Championship meet is next Tuesday at Uncle John’s Cider Mill hosted by Ovid Elsie.
