BCMS Announcements – October 25, 2017
- Last girls volleyball game tonight! 7th & 8th grade play against Carrollton at BCMS. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
- Girls Basketball Try-outs- October 27th
- 7th Grade – 2:45 – 4:30 p.m.
- 8th Grade – 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Popcorn Day! – Popcorn will be sold during all lunches for $1.00 or add cheese for $1.25.
- Friday Donut Day! – Donuts will be sold for $1.00 in the Care Center on Friday morning.
- Friday Hat Day! – Pay $1.00 to wear a hat to school on Friday. Proceeds go towards the Thanksgiving food baskets.
- Thanksgiving Food Drive – Student council is sponsoring the Thanksgiving Food Drive to help families in our community. The food drive will take place October 16 – November 3rd. Please bring non-perishable food items or personal care products to the Care Center. Items collected will be used to make up special baskets for those in need and will be delivered just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Please bring in items to show how much The Creek Cares!
- Halloween! Students may wear Halloween costumes at school on October 31st.
- Costume Rules – no weapons, face paint, scary costumes, or masks. Costumes need to follow the school dress code.
- Student Council is sponsoring a Halloween Contest on Halloween day. There will be one winning costume from each grade. Student Council will also be counting spirit points that day. Student Council will give points if you’re wearing a costume or if you’re wearing black or orange.
- Looking ahead into November….
- November 1 – Picture Re-take Day
- November 2 – MS Dance 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.
- November 7 – No School
- November 13 & 15 – Competitive Cheer Try-Outs, 7th & 8th grade only, 6 – 7:30 at BCEL. Please come with hair up, tennis/cheer shoes, and a GREAT attitude. Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at BCEL.
- November 17 – The Dental Bus will be coming to BCMS on November 17th. This is open to any student, regardless of insurance coverage. Applications are in the office. Completed applications need to be turned in to the office by November 10th.
