  • Do you want a donut party in your first hour? The class that donates the most nonperishable food items by the end of the day tomorrow will get a donut party next Monday. All proceeds will be donated to the Open Door homeless shelter.
  • ASI will be held Monday, March 5 and Wednesday, March 7 due to Parent Teacher Conferences next week.
  • Saginaw Valley State University will be hosting the Math Olympics on Friday, March 16th.  If interested, permission slips are available from Mrs. Syring or in the office.  Forms are due to Mrs. Syring by Wednesday, March 7th.
  • Attention Students: The high school parking lot is quickly filling up with student drivers.  It is important for all students to park in their assigned parking spot to avoid parking lot mix ups and confusion.  Unregistered vehicles need to be parking in spots past # 220 and registered as soon as possible.
  • Seniors, time is running out for scholarships.  Please check out the BC website or the bulletin board in D-wing to capture the last opportunities to apply for scholarships.
  • Michigan Tech is hosting Summer Youth Programs – Women in Engineering and Engineering Scholars Program for grades 9-11.  Stop by the Counseling Office for applications and more information.
  • Attention Juniors!  Want to hang out and study for the SAT?  Stop by the Lancer Lounge after school on Mondays for the SAT Study Group.  There will be snacks and Khan Academy practice, from 2:45 to 3:45.  Contact Mr. Wardell, the college adviser, for more information.
  • Bullock Creek Little League will be holding umpire training sessions in March and April for students, 6th grade and above, that are interested in umpiring with us for the upcoming spring season.  For more information, see the poster outside the main office.
  • The winning 6th hour that will receive a pasta party courtesy of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society later in the semester is – Mrs. Hoefer’s with an average of $12.22 per student.  In second was Mr. Milligan’s with an average of $8.62 per student.  Coming in third was Mrs. Fleming’s class with an average of $7.21 per student.  As a school, we raised $1,050.51.  Thank you all for participating.!
