BCHS Announcement 5-21-18

Attention Juniors and Seniors:  Sign up in the Counseling Center if you would like to attend the 2018 Meet the Guard event June 1st from 9am-1pm hosted by the Michigan National Guard at the Midland Armory.  Lunch will be provided.

Attention ALL students: library books are due THIS Friday, May 25th.

Creekers for a Cause will be collecting your spare change all this week during lunch hours. Your donations will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan to raise awareness and support research for epilepsy. Please donate to help make a difference.

Bullock Creek Student Council is a great opportunity to get involved in your school, plan events, increase school spirit, and make new friends. We are looking for Creekers who are excited to be a part of this school and want to make it a better place. We will be holding an election for next year’s council and would love for you to apply. If you are interested, please pick up an election packet in Mrs. Syring’s room (3A) or Mrs. DuBois’ room (8B). Packets will be due Friday, May 25th by 3:00pm.

THE FOLLOWING ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE FOR SENIORS:

Seniors the end is near..  YEAH! Have you order flowers to hand out during graduation? Tomorrow is the deadline to order. See Mrs. Brown or Ms. Rinn ASAP! Flowers are $3.00 a piece. Make sure to pay for the All the Night Party and Graduation Pictures by Friday.

ALSO- make sure you return your borrowed books to the library, pay any outstanding lunch charges, and return uniforms before Friday, May 25th.

Hey Lancers!! Let’s enjoy one more spirit week for the 2017-2018 school year!! Hey seniors…this is your last one!! Tomorrow is Dress to Impress Day…prepare for Tuesday night’s Awards Night by getting all spruced up!! Hawaiian Day will be on WEDNESDAY!! Get ready for those warm summer days by wearing your best Hawaiian stuff!! On THURSDAY, proudly sport your favorite college, university, military or trade school gear for College Day!! FRIDAY is the last Black and Gold Day for our seniors!! Do it up!!

Congratulations to the following track & field athletes who qualified for the MHSAA State Finals in Zeeland, MI.

100m & 200m dash           Samantha Chew   1st place
1600 m & 3200m runs       Brennan Mudd      1st place
4×100 m relay                    Kyle Crawford, Nick Lashuay,
                                          Gaeb Griese, & Peyton Kobel                     2nd place
Lauren Bradford was also able to set the school record in the long jump. Lauren jumped 16-3.75. The old record was set in 1978.
