Dear BCMS Families,
What a wonderful first week we’ve had at the middle school. Let me share a few thoughts and reminders with you.
1. BCMS is hosting a curriculum night on Wednesday, September 12th @ 6:15. Please mark this on your calendar. This will be an hour well spent learning about curriculum and classroom expectations for the year. (see attachment for details)
2. BCMS is in the process of having a buzz-in system installed in the front doors of the building. The system will be active during the time our students are in class. The office will have a couple of standard questions for anyone requesting access to the building during those hours. This is just another layer of security to keep our students and staff safe while at school.
3. Reminder: Families completing our online free/reduced lunch applications MUST hit the submit button to complete the form.
4. Reminder: The middle school will be open at 7:00 am on school days and remain open until 8 pm, for times you may need to return.
5. BCMS Cross Country athletes will be competing in the Lancer Invitational Saturday morning at Stratford Park. Races begin at 9:30ish. I would encourage you to come out and support our athletes. Good luck runners!
