Auditions for the Spring play, Little Women, will be held today from 3:00 to 5:00 in the auditorium. If you are unable to attend but are still interested in auditioning, please email Mr. Shields this afternoon.
The Talent Show Auditions have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 5th. If you cannot attend due to another commitment, you MUST talk to or email Ms. Doud AND audition on Wednesday after school.
The CTE Showcase Field Trip has been rescheduled for this Thursday, February 7th. If you are attending, please remember to check in with your teachers for your missed work.
Do you have a sweetheart, a crush, or a BFF? We have the perfect Valentine’s gift for you. Send them a carnation! Orders will be taken during lunches this week starting on Wednesday and ending on Friday. Carnations are $1 each and will be delivered February 14th during 6th hour. So, when ordering, please know the person’s 6th hour so we know where to send them.
Do you like Olive Garden and have spare change in your pocket? Well it’s your lucky day (or should we say two weeks)! The pennies for pasta fundraiser has restarted. This fundraiser is a money drive that will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society to help fund cancer research. The 6th hour with the highest percent of money per person will win an Olive Garden pasta party. The school goal is to raise $800. Don’t worry if you don’t have money today because the fundraiser will be happening for two weeks and will end Thursday, February 14th.
Sophomores, there are two important Parent Meetings coming up. There is a Class of 2021 Parent Meeting on Wednesday, February 6 at 6:00pm to discuss opportunities for your junior year. It will be followed at 7:00pm by an informational meeting about Bullock Creek’s Early College Program. Please encourage your parents to attend.
Juniors, on Thursday, February 7 at 6:00 pm there will be a very important Parent Meeting. We will be sharing information about senior year, scholarships, FAFSA, off-campus opportunities, and work-based learning. Please invite your parents to this meeting.
Seniors, scholarships were recently updated on the bulletin board and the website. Check out the many opportunities to earn scholarship money.
Would you like to attend a summer engineering summer camp for free? If you answered yes, listen up. Hemlock Semiconductor is offering scholarships for Bullock Creek students to attend camp at Michigan Tech University. In addition to this scholarship, there are several other opportunities that Michigan Tech offers. Check out the website at www.mtu.edu or stop by the Counseling Center to pick up a flyer.
