Looking for a Mother’s Day gift that is under $20? Come visit the Coleman Agriscience Center open house and flower sale on Saturday, May 11th. It includes free pulled pork sandwiches and livestock displays. The flower sale runs between 11 am and 1 pm.
Vaping among teens has risen to epidemic levels. Student Council is sponsoring the “Get Your Head Out of the Clouds” campaign for the next several weeks to provide facts about e-cigarettes and vaping. Many users believe e-cigarettes/vapes are nicotine-free, but all small vape pod cartridges contain nicotine. Until recently, e-cigarette makers didn’t have to tell you if their products contained nicotine. However, new regulations require warning labels that say: “Warning: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.”
