Vaping among teens has risen to epidemic levels. Student Council is sponsoring the “Get Your Head Out of the Clouds” campaign for the next several weeks to provide facts about e-cigarettes and vaping. Many users believe e-cigarettes/vapes are nicotine-free, but all small vape pod cartridges contain nicotine. Until recently, e-cigarette makers didn’t have to tell you if their products contained nicotine. However, new regulations require warning labels that say: “Warning: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.”
