May 22, 2019

Hey all Lancers running for the 2019-2020 Student Council…Your election packets are due today by 3 pm to Mrs. Syring or Mrs. DuBois. Please do NOT put them in the mailboxes in the office. Hand your packet in directly. If the packets are not turned in by 3 pm, your name will not appear on the ballot. Be a voice, not an echo!

Attention students: ALL library books are due back by this Friday. Please get them returned as soon as possible.

Hey all Lancers! Trying to think of a sweet and simple way to say good-bye to your favorite seniors? Student Council has just the ticket…”See Ya, Suckers” will be on sale at lunches for the rest of this week. The cost is only 25 cents and it buys a lollipop and an opportunity to write a send-off message to all of your senior besties! The lollipops will be delivered to seniors the morning of graduation rehearsal. Get ’em while they’re HOT!!

Juniors, a representative from Central Michigan University will be here next Thursday, May 30th. If you are interested in CMU and would like to learn about summer visit opportunities and the application process, please sign up in the Counseling Office.

The deadline for the CTE Summer Camps has been extended to May 31st. Stop by the Lancer Lounge to pick up a flyer with more information on the medical, culinary arts, agriscience, coding, and construction technology camps.

Hey Lancers!! To recognize the last week for the class of 2019, student council has put together a spirit week in their honor!!

Thursday wear your college gear–sport your favorite college colors!
Friday is Inside Out Day–a nod to the movie where different facets of personality are personified!
Freshman wear fear purple
Sophomores wear anger red
Juniors wear sadness blue
Seniors are happiness yellow
Teachers and all staff wear curiosity orange!
E-cigarette makers know that hooking people at a young age will create lifelong customers because their brains are more likely to develop a nicotine addiction. That’s why they make e-juices in candy and fruity flavors that target teens. They profit off of your addiction. Remember, flavors are meant to be eaten, not inhaled.
LUNCH TOMORROW: Teriyaki or Orange Chicken, Brown Rice, Flat Bread Pizza, Asian Pea Pods & an Egg Roll.
