Attention soccer players: your game has been cancelled tonight – practice will be at 4:00.
Oh man, were you sad when everyone was picking up their yearbooks at registration and you realized you had forgotten to order one?? You are in luck because there are 30 yearbooks still available for purchase! The cost is $60 and they can be purchased in the media center with a check or cash. On that same subject, don’t forget to order your 2020 yearbook NOW for $55 before the price goes up!
Lawrence Technical University and Baldwin Wallace University will be visiting our school next week. A representative from Lawrence Tech will be here on Tuesday, September 17th at 1:00 p.m. and a representative from Baldwin Wallace University will be here on Wednesday, September 18 at 12:30 p.m. If you are interested in meeting with either of them, please sign up on the sheet in the counseling office.
Here are your HOMECOMING announcements – some new additions – so listen up!
Powder Puff practice: Freshmen/Sophomore practice at 4:45 today and Junior/Senior practice at 5:00 today. Both practices are here at the school.
This Friday’s Spirit Day .… Powder Puff Pink Day… Wear you pink Powder Puff shirt to kick off Homecoming and the Powder Puff game.T-shirts will be sold at lunches and the game for $12. By wearing your shirt to the game, this gets you free admission. REMEMBER – Hallway decorating after the Powder Puff game. All students are welcome to participate!
Just a quick reminder, all male court members must have their tuxedo fittings done by the end of the weekend at Men’s Warehouse in the Midland Mall. Sunday is the absolute deadline!
Hey Homecoming Dance-Goers! Tickets are on sale now until September 18th. Tickets are $12 a person or $20 a couple. If you are bringing a guest from another school, you must have a guest pass filled out when you purchase your tickets.
Homecoming T-Shirts will be on sale next week starting on Monday. T-Shirts will be $10.00 each. Show your Lancer spirit and purchase a shirt and wear on Black and Gold day.

Trick or Treat Tuesday: Freshmen are pumpkin orange, sophomores are witchy purple, juniors are blood red, and seniors are darkness black, and staff is goblin green.
Wednesday is Christmas in September. Get on Santa’s nice list by wearing your best holiday attire.
Thursday: Dress to Impress, Catch cupid’s eye by wearing your best.
Friday is the classic Black and Gold Day! Show you are crazy for the Creek by wearing your black and gold.
Tomorrow there is a half-day of school and we will be dismissed at 10:45. In the afternoon, teachers and staff will participate in a school safety professional development. Therefore, we will need all students out of the building by 11:00. Please begin making arrangements to be picked up from school by this time if you do not ride a bus. The building will be locked to allow our office staff to attend the training.
LUNCH MONDAY: Bosco sticks & marinara, pulled pork on flatbread, grape tomato, celery, carrots & diced pears.
