CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE
Three programs, Sharing Tree, Community Christmas Closet, and Toys for Tots, that provide assistance for Christmas are now available. Sharing Tree and Community Christmas Closet forms were sent home with elementary and middle school students. If you have a child at the high school or you need additional forms, they are available in every school’s Main Office and Counseling Office. Information about Toys for Tots is included below in a flyer.
We would like all Sharing Tree forms for your family to be turned in as one family packet to one school. For example, if you have two children who attend Floyd and one child who attends Bullock Creek Middle School, you would return all three forms together to any of the five schools. Forms need to be turned in by October 2 for Sharing Tree and October 25 for Community Christmas Closet. Unfortunately, no late forms will be accepted. If you have any questions about any of these programs, contact a school counselor.
Midland/Gladwin County Toys for Tots
Are you in need of some assistance this holiday season? Toys for Tots is not income based. If you are having difficulties this holiday season, please go to site to apply. We require a copy of drivers license and a copy of each child’s birth certificates or some form of proof that you are the parent/guardian and a Midland or Gladwin county resident.
