Just a few things to share this week…
1. REMINDER: Tomorrow, October 11th is a ½ day for students. BCMS dismissal is at 10:30 – no lunches will be served.
2. Parent/Teacher Conferences: October 24th 4:00-7:30 & October 29th 3:00-6:30. Parents should know that historically, the first day of conferences are the busiest and especially the first hour or so. For shorter wait times I recommend the second day or the second half of the first day.
3. November 7th – BCMS Dance 2:30-4:00 – Parents can use either drive to pick up students.
4. The District has recently implemented a new system that helps us monitor student email and digital documents for potential harmful activities. Items such as “online predators, adult content, sexting, cyberbullying, drug use, depression, suicidal ideation, and more.” While no system is perfect, our goal is to add one more tool to help us protect our students.
5. BCMS Fundraising this year. See attachment.
6. Tomorrow is our last varsity football game at home. Kick-off is at 7:00pm.
