Dear BCMS Families,
Let me share a few important things happening at the middle school…
1. November 2nd – BCMS Robotics @ the HS.
The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Midland Qualifier robotics competition will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Bullock Creek High School in Midland. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend the event.
Thirty-six teams from across Michigan will be playing SKYSTONE, the exciting 2019 FTC game. Local middle schools, including Bullock Creek, Jefferson, Northeast, Freeland and Calvary Baptist will be competing on Saturday. The teams have had six weeks to design, build, program and test robots to meet the competition challenge based on their team’s game strategy.
2. November 4th – End of the first marking period
3. November 5th – NO SCHOOL
4. November 6th – CSC presentation for 8th grade students ONLY
5. November 7th – BCMS Dance 2:30-4:00
