STEM@SVSU is excited to announce the WeCode camps are returning this semester!
WeCode is a FREE one-day weekend boot camp for beginners who would like to explore basics of coding using Sphero Programming. Our main objective is to encourage everyone to try out programming and explore the possible opportunities in the field of Computer Science.
The WeCode will include…
- Hands-on activities to understand the programming concepts
- Learn the concept of loops, variables, conditionals, and functions that form the basis for all programming languages using Spheros. This opens their ability to build a website, an app, or a robot.
Program acceptance is a first come, first served basis and is limited to the first 20 participants.
This camp is open to 5th – 8th graders and is being offered on Saturday, February 1st and Saturday, February 15th (students may only attend ONE session). For more information or to register, please use the links below.
