BCHS will be hosting a SafeTALK training on Wednesday, April 29th after school. The SafeTALK training provides participants an opportunity to learn about how to notice and respond to situations where suicide thoughts might be present and to learn about community resources. Space is limited, so sign up with Mrs. Brown if you are interested in this free training with pizza dinner included.
Michigan Tech will be hosting Summer Youth Programs. They are week-long explorations designed to create awareness and spark interest in the world of science, technology, engineering and math. Participants get to experience college life in a residence hall and meet others with similar interests. Stop by the Lancer Lounge to pick up an application.
Congratulations to the Junior Varsity and Varsity Bands for their outstanding performances at District Band Festival this past weekend! The Junior Varsity Band earned a rating of Division 2, which is called “Excellent”. The Varsity Band earned a rating of Division 1, which is considered “Superior”. The Varsity Band earned an A in all 25 categories that they were judged on and will be continuing to State Band Festival at the end of April.
