Dear Bullock Creek Families,
In response to the closure of all K-12 school buildings in the State of Michigan, the Bullock Creek School District is developing a plan to address getting needed meals to our children during this difficult time.
The District will be offering meals to children 18 years and younger on the dates listed below.
March 16-20, 2020
March 23-26, 2020
Please note that we are reviewing what services may be available during spring break, March 30 – April 3, 2020. We will send out additional information regarding this at a later date.
On these days, the District will be providing one lunch and one breakfast per child per day. The lunch and breakfast will be combined in one container for distribution purposes.
Normal bus routes and pickup locations will be utilized to deliver meals. Buses will leave Bullock Creek High School at 10:30 am to begin delivery. We anticipate most deliveries will occur by 1:00 pm. When District staff stops at your home, we ask you be ready to meet the person outside your home to request the number of meals you need for the children in your home that day. This limits physical contact and helps maintain health safety guidelines.
For those families who do not use District provided transportation, meals will be available for drive up and pick up from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the High School. Pick up will occur at the main entrance by the canopy. Families can drive up and staff will meet you at your vehicle to hand you the number of meals you need for the children in your home that day.
We appreciate your support and patience as we work through the process of getting meals to our children during this time of crisis.
