Dear BCMS Families,
Here we are finishing up the most unusual school year in recent history. The official end to our 2019/20 school year will be June 5th. The last packets will be going out this week in the mail or bus delivery and teachers will be wrapping up lessons this week. Below are a few important things to know as we end the year.
1. Student locker pick up schedule
Monday, June 8th 2pm-6pm – pick up for students with the last name beginning with letter A-M.
Wednesday, June 10th 2pm-6pm – pick up for students with the last name beginning with N-Z.
Directions: Please use the student drop off/pick up drive (North loop) and pull up to the gym doors. A staff member will be out front to greet you. We’ll ask for the student’s name and will then place the student’s items on a table for you to take. All items have been bagged up and labeled for your convenience and to help make the pick up move along quickly. We will be following social distancing guidelines and safe practices, so the building will not be open to the public during this time.
Important: Please bring with you any items that belong to the school. We are collecting all library books, textbooks and other items that students may have borrowed.
2. Report cards have been mailed out and families should be receiving them shortly.
3. Yearbook orders were placed earlier this year. They were delayed due to the COVID crisis but are expected to arrive later this summer. It is our plan, at this time, to hand them out during schedule pick up in August. Those that have moved onto the HS, we will send yours over for distribution.
4. Please watch for communication from the district this summer as the plan for next school year develops.
