BCMS News & Notes

Dear BCMS Families,
The BCMS staff is excited and ready to go for the first day of school next week (Tuesday, September 8th).  I’ve missed hosting our new student orientation and being able to disseminate important information to students and parents.  I’ll share a few bits of important information and attempt to keep it brief.
1.  First day of school – Tuesday, September 8th
2.  BCMS school day – 7:40am-2:25pm
3.  BCMS doors open at 7:15am, students can enter the hallways and go to lockers/classes at 7:25am
4.  Students should check their schedule on Skyward over the weekend to make sure they have the most up-to-date copy.  Print a copy if possible.  Students should know the name of their first hour teacher.
5.  All students will receive a new copy of their schedule in their first hour class.
6.  Teacher names are posted with a hanging sign over their door – easily visible in the hallways.
7.  On the first day students should go directly to their first hour class.  Staff will be in the hallways guiding students to their first hour.
8.  Student lunch times:  6th 10:30-11:00, 7th 11:00-11:30, 8th 11:30-12:00
*Microwaves will NOT be available for student lunches this year until the COVID situation is under control.
9.  If your child is riding a bus, please be sure they know the correct bus number.
