Anyone interested in joining Robotics this year, please sign up on one of the sheets, either in the office or outside of Ms. Doud’s or Mrs. Forbes’ classrooms by this Friday. Our first meeting with new members will be Monday, Oct. 5th after school until 4:00 in the cafeteria.
Seniors – Scholarship opportunities are starting to roll in. Check them out on the BC website or the bulletin boards in the Lancer Lounge or in D-wing.
Attention juniors and seniors – If you are interested in a career in cosmetology, a representative from Aveda will be conducting a virtual visit on Tuesday, October 6th at 9:00 am.
A representative from Alma College will have a virtual visit on Wednesday, October 7th at 10:15 am. Sign up in the counseling office if you would like to attend either meeting.
Seniors interested in nursing – Davenport will be holding virtual nursing information sessions on Oct. 6th 12:30-1:30 pm, Oct. 8th 6-7 pm, and Oct. 27th 6-7 pm. Attend one of these sessions to learn about the nursing program, scholarship, and tips on how to apply. For more information there are flyers in the counseling office or feel free to email Mrs. Brown or Ms. Gross.
Tomorrow is Spirit Day – Wear your flannel shirt… It is the opening of Bow Hunting season. Show your school spirit and wear your favorite flannel.
Hey Students! Student Council has found some kinks in the homecoming election forms. We will be resending them Friday morning and voting will close at the end of the day on Monday. Also, forms will be coming out for student council elections, we have just a couple positions to vote for. Please keep an eye on your school email for these forms!
