Hey Lancers as we all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and this year it means more to the Creek than ever. Last week our beloved Mrs. Spyker passed away from cancer, and as many of you know her cancer began with breast cancer. Tomorrow, October 13th we would like to celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and honor Mrs. Spyker by wearing pink to school.
Heads up freshmen and seniors…..you have PSAT/SAT testing this Wednesday! That’s right, Wednesday! As you make your way by the counseling office you’ll see posted up your room assignments for testing. Be sure to check it out!
Are you finding yourself falling behind in a class or two? Do you need a place to make up a test you missed? Do you want a quiet place to work on homework? We have help available! Tomorrow, October 13th we will begin our After School Intervention program (ASI). Normally, it will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:50 until 4:05 in Mrs. Sawicki’s room 11D. You do not need to sign up ahead of time, but you do need to be there by 2:50 and have a ride ready to pick you up by 4:05. See Mrs. Landon or Mrs. Sawicki for more information.
Hey Seniors! We have some virtual college visits scheduled for this week and next.
Tomorrow, October 13th- Oakland University will be visiting at 9:30 and Spring Arbor will be visiting at 12:45 Thursday, October 15th- the US Army will be conducting a virtual visit at 5:00 pm Tuesday, October 20th- Lawrence Tech will have a virtual visit at 11:00 Wednesday, October 21st- MidMichigan will visit at 10:30
If you are interested in meeting with any of these representatives, sign up in the counseling office.
Attention all girls interested in playing basketball this winter – There is a sign-up sheet in the main office on the front counter. There is also a packet of information for all girls basketball players to pick up when they sign-up. Any questions, please see Coach Freeland in room 7D.
