Sophomores and Juniors taking the PSAT tomorrow morning, please remember to bring a #2 pencil and a calculator if you have one. Stop by the cafeteria on your way to testing to grab a free granola bar.
Friday we will continue to celebrate the fun of the end of October by wearing costumes. Remember they need to be school appropriate, no fake weapons or costume masks.
Creekers for a Cause is a group of high school students who help out our community through volunteerism and raising funds for families in need. If you are interested in learning more about this great club and how to become a member, stop by and see Mrs. Brown in the Counseling Office.
ASI next week will be held on Monday, November 2nd and Wednesday, November 4th due to no school on Tuesday November 3rd. Regular time and place: 2:50 – 4:05 in 11D.
Attention athletes – If you are interested in playing a winter sport, sign-ups are on Mrs. Huntoon’s desk in the main office.
Attention tennis players – We are limiting the number of players for Sunday tennis to the first 8 boys and the first 8 girls who sign-up. There will also be a $5 charge – please see Mr. Kalina to sign-up or if you have any questions.
Hockey tryouts for the Tai-Valley Titans will be Tuesday, November 3rd from 8:45-9:45 pm and on Friday, November 6th from 6-7 pm at the Midland Civic Arena. Face coverings must be worn at all times, and remember you must have an updated physical on file at the high school.
Seniors, scholarships were recently updated. Check out the new opportunities on our website or on the bulletin boards in D-wing or the Lancer Lounge.
Attention Juniors and Seniors – The University of Michigan and Michigan State University are teaming up to provide students an informational session called Go Blue + Go Green. This event will be held on Nov 1st at 3:00 and Nov 10th at 3:30. The event will be virtual, and you will need to register to attend. For more information pick up a flyer in the Counseling Office or ask Ms. Gross.
The answer to yesterday’s trivia question was Central Michigan University. The first-place winner is Lauren Carter, 2nd place is Jaiden Leathers, and 3rd place is Braxton Hale. Ms. Gross will be visiting your class shortly to deliver prizes.
