Hey Lancers – To wrap up Kindness Week we would just like to thank all of you for participating in this week’s Spirit Days. We really appreciate your kindness. Today is World Kindness Day so if you haven’t yet done something kind for someone, please get out there and make someone’s day a little brighter! Today is the last day you can enter the Kindness Week drawings in the Counseling Office. And remember Lancers, in a world where you can be anything, be kind!
Haden Brick and Alana Chadwick were the lucky winners of Thursday’s Spirit Day drawing. Since it is World Kindness Day we will end with a special quote from Mr. Rogers, a man with a caring heart who shared lessons of kindness through his show “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood”. He said, “All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That’s one of the things that connects us as neighbors—in our own way, each one of us is a giver and a receiver.”
The winners of today’s Spirit Day drawing are Gretchen Furst and David Hassen. They can stop by Mrs. Brown’s office after school to pick up their prizes.
LUNCH MONDAY – Top your 8 inch sub sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomato, peppers, olives, spinach & condiments or salad & fruit.
