11/17/2020 – Pine River News: Online Learning

Pine River Elementary Families,
Following Governor Whitmer’s announcement on Sunday, November 15, the Bullock Creek School District will begin remote learning on Thursday, November 19.  At this time, the district will remain in remote learning through Tuesday, December 8.
Below are some important points regarding the upcoming virtual learning for Pine River Elementary students:
**Your child’s teacher will convey to you the virtual learning schedule.  Please look for an email from the teacher.  In addition, teachers have been working with students on what they will need to do while working remotely.
**Student attendance is expected and will be taken each day.
**Student work is expected to be completed on time during this virtual learning period.  Student work will be graded.
**During this time, our primary concern is the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.  Please contact me if your child or family is in need of support.
**If your family is experiencing internet connectivity issues, wifi is accessible in the parking lots at each of the school district’s buildings.
**Free lunch and breakfast meal pick up is available.  Please see the email from Sherrie VanConant on Monday, November 16.  Meals do need to be ordered by Wednesday of each week, so be sure to pay attention to the deadline.
**If you need help with a Chromebook or have Chromebook issues, please email bchelp@bcreek.org
It is our utmost desire to have students back in the building on Wednesday, December 9.  As this time draws near, more information will be sent out to families.  If you have further questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Debra Bradford
